The Data I Collect

Who I am
My website address is: https://www.2ndchancept.co.uk.
The personal data I collect from you and why I collect it
When you make contact I save your email address and telephone number in the contact list associated with my outlook account. I use these details to make contact with you and may keep the content of messages so that I can track our communication. A mobile phone, laptop and PC are used to store this information backed up by an encrypted, external harddrive kept in a locked cupboard. All devices containing your data are for my use only, never shared and password protected at all times.
During our work together I keep brief notes to assist in providing the best therapy I can, these notes are never read by anyone else and never contain your name or the name of anyone you mention only ever initials. These can be coded or a different set used by your request. Handwritten notes are kept in a secure cabinet typed notes on a laptop backed up to an encrypted hard drive. You have the right to see them at any time, providing a minimum 2 weeks notice. I usually destroy notes after 5 years or 3 years after we finish working together, which ever is the longer. You may ask me to destroy them sooner if you prefer.
